GROUNDED: How connection with nature can improve our mental and physical wellbeing
By Ruth Allen
My first book was published in 2021 (Welbeck/Hachette) and has since has critical and commercial success in the UK, US, Australia, France, Germany and the Netherlands. Grounded is a 192-page beautifully photographed hardback book, exploring over 8 chapters how we can further our relationship with nature for better overall health. It’s voice is warm and companionable - a book to keep on your bedside table or take outside on a wander.
GROUNDED has featured in BBC Wildlife Magazine, Countryfile Magazine and Ecopsychology UK amongst others.
It has received a sell-out audience at Kendal Mountain Literature Festival, as well as being featured at Bradford Lit Fest.
It has also been featured on BBC6 Music with Lauren LaVerne, Ramblings with Clare Balding and several times on local BBC radio.
